CRUZ launches its first platform bike carrier for hitch receivers CRUZ Kicker 2 NA. This is a hitch receiver platform bike carrier with a robust design and exclusive features, which will be available for sale specifically in the North American market.

CRUZ Kicker 2 NA allows for bicycles transport without any frame or fork contact. Its innovative fitting system ensures easy and reliable attachment to 2” hitch receivers. Thanks to dual loading arms, bikes can be transported asymmetrically to avoid handlebar interference. Bikes are securely held to the CRUZ Kicker bike carrier by pressing the loading arms onto the tyres, allows for bicycles transport without any frame or fork contact.

Even with bikes mounted, the CRUZ Kicker can be tilted down using the pull handle for quick and easy trunk access. In addition, it has an innovative non-use position in which the bike rack can be folded, enhancing vehicle maneuverability and parking ease. The bike carrier has a back stop to avoid hitting the vehicle when folding from the use position to the non-use position.

CRUZ Kicker 2 NA comes standard with a full anti-theft system that secures the bikes and the bike carrier itself. The bikes are secured by a braided steel cable with a soft coating to avoid bikes and components damages. Optionally, an adapter can be added to transport 1 additional bike (CRUZ Kicker +1 bike adapter) if the load capacity of the bike carrier needs to be increased. In addition, an adapter to transport bicycles with fenders will be able (CRUZ Kicker fender adapter).

CRUZ Kicker 2 NA will be available for sale from 11st, October 2024 in the USA and Canada at a recommended retail price (MSRP) of 610.00 USD for the USA and 776.66 CAD for Canada. It will be sold exclusively by RACK ATTACK, North America’s premier retailer of vehicle rack solutions, with 47 physical stores throughout the United States and Canada. In a second launch phase, the CRUZ Kicker +1 bike adapter for transporting 1 additional bike and the CRUZ Kicker fender adapter for transporting bikes with fenders will be available for these markets.

Likewise, the CRUZ Kicker bike carrier and its adapters are scheduled for launch in the coming months for the European, United Kingdom and Australian markets, with models for both towbar and hitch receivers.
